Welcome to Lunch City Studio! We create art for adventurous folks who want to connect with their favorite places. All of the artwork is created by artist and architect, Courtney Drake.
In 2017, Courtney founded Lunch City Studio from the corner of her one-bedroom apartment in Washington, D.C., where she lived with her husband, Steve, and their dog, Lunchbox. Equal parts homebody and explorer, she was inspired to create unique prints that brought home her love of all the places she explored with Lunch.
After moving back to her home state of Massachusetts, she outgrew her online side gig and began working as an artist full-time. From June 2021 to December 2023, Courtney opened a brick-and-mortar shop, gallery, and studio space in Somerville to inspire her art and contribute to her neighborhood.
